GODS & MONSTERS

This collection explores the experience of being marginalized as a queer person, employing gods and monsters as symbols of otherness.

“Growing up I felt so different from everyone else because of my identity. Others made me feel like I was a monster and that feeling led me to a very dark place. After much time of sitting in that despair, I decided I didn’t want to live like this anymore. A divine shift occurred where I realized that I was worthy to go out into the world and work towards achieving my dreams. I learned to own my “monstrosity” through the love and support of my friends and family.”
